Daily Dose: Throwing Blanks

Last night there was an incredible total of seven shutouts in the majors, the highest number on any one day since a record eight were hurled back in 1972. In today’s Daily Dose, we focused on the moundsmen behind those gems, including a suddenly-revived Bronson Arroyo, who tossed his first career goose egg despite pitching on just three days’ rest.
