Is Ryan Howard the new David Ortiz?

Ryan Howard’s coming out party is complete after he edged David Wright for the Home Run Derby title Monday. Of course, Howard’s prodigious power is no secret to those in the Fantasy community who have been marvelling at the slugger’s moon shots for a few years now.

But now the whole world knows: Ryan Howard is the new David Ortiz.

Friggin’ impressive.

Now let’s just hope he avoids a similar fate that befell his teammate, Bobby Abreu.
