We all know that the Green Bay Packers’ rivalry with the Chicago Bears has been rather one-sided for the last dozen years, with the Pack holding a 23-3 edge over that stretch (including eight straight wins in Green Bay).

Suddenly we have to ask: has Gainwell moved to the top of the depth chart while we were thinking about the MLB stretch run? If that’s the case, he’s a major sleeper, while Swift looks like a reach at his current ADP (78.2).

Better yet, the contract stipulates that Minnesota cannot franchise tag him next offseason, so Hunter will be in line for an even bigger payday assuming he produces as expected in 2023.

Taken in the third round last year, Bell is likely to be the team’s WR4, but Tillman could easily eclipse him in time, so this is a situation that bears watching during training camp. Dressing in all but one game, Bell managed 24 receptions on 35 targets for 214 yards as rookie last season. Given the competition he faces, he’s not worth drafting, but could provide value as an in-season pickup depending on how things shake out.

The Los Angeles Chargers finally got back to the playoffs last year for the first time since 2018, and while the experience left something wanting (choke), it’s not going to be an easy road to get back there in 2023.

Since going 12-4 and winning the NFC North in 2018, it’s been pretty much all downhill for the Chicago Bears after ostensibly bottoming out last year at 3-14.

Given all the rust, however, it’s hard to think of Thomas as even a top 50 option for 2023. Consider him a low-end WR4 or bye-week option.
