The Wire Troll: Jose Bautista Finds New Life in Big Apple

Anderson has put together back-to-back outings of eight shutout innings, winning both and lowering his ERA almost three-quarters of a run in the process. His run is supported by stellar command (17 Ks, three walks) and unhittable stuff (just six hits against in the two starts combined). MLB Today: Noah Syndergaard Pitches His Heart Out in Loss

Syndergaard vacillated between untouchable and pretty damn amazing this season, never recording a monthly ERA higher than 3.86 (his only month above 2.84, actually). Judging by his stellar work at Triple-A (7-1, 2.61 in 16 starts with 11.6 K/9), this kid is ready for the challenge. We love the fact that De Leon has improved his ERA with the move from Double-A to Triple-A, but it’s worth noting that his FIP numbers between those two levels are a lot closer. Still, his recall is a very Fantasy relevant event, so pounce while you can.
