Video Game Review: The Tyranny of King Washington — The Betrayal DLC

It spills over into an ill-conceived skirmish with Washington — one in which you can’t really hurt him, nor can he seem to hurt you as there’s not even a life meter present. Instead I just found myself cloaking to avoid or attacking with my newfound eagle powers only to see him fend off about 70 per cent of my strikes at seemingly random — there was certainly no discernible difference between successful attacks and failures.

The Wire Troll: The Dirty Dozen Days

Michalek only played 14:47, but with his ATOI over 18 minutes, expect that time to creep up within the week. Also, his goal count probably should wind up higher than his assists. Ottawa has a pretty good schedule conducive to scoring, so don’t be shocked to see a good return on investment with a player only owned in 20-to-25 per cent of all Fantasy leagues.

The Wire Troll: Markieff Morris Rising in Phoenix

He’s earning minutes because of his defensive prowess, but he flashed a little something something offensively on Wednesday as well, dropping 17 points with 10 boards for his third double-double of the season as the Suns ended Dallas’ streak of 12 straight playoff appearances. Tucker is showing a nice shooting touch lately and he even canned three treys in his last game — a real rarity from him, but something worth rolling the dice on for the final week.

Podcast: Clayton Kershaw Kicking Ass

After a three-week hiatus thanks to March Madness and tickets to the Philadelphia Flyers game, we were back with another episode of RotoRob’s Fantasy Baseball Weekly Podcast, heard every Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on Blogtalkradio. With the regular season underway, we were itching to get going and there was no lack of stories to analyze. Hell, we even had a guest as Tim Heaney popped in for a few minutes towards the end of our show.

Video Game Review: Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge

Actions outside of combat presented even more issues. Quick time events, which do not tell you which button to press (I still have no clue what to press when rockets come after me in mid-air), stealth sections with wonky controls and awkwardly climbing up walls combine to make the shorter, non-combat sections a chore. Also, if you are one of those people amused or disturbed by Team Ninja jiggle physics, the PS3 version lets you control them with Six-Axis motion controls, so buy accordingly.

Video Game Review: BattleBlock Theater

Despite this being just its third game, The Behemoth already possesses a very distinct (and instantly recognizable) art style, which is on full display here. Characters and levels are simplistic yet teeming with personality and a cheerful colour palette. There’s also plenty of the developer’s signature charm with square pigs to ride and frogs turned time bombs… oh, and poop, too. The story advancing cut scenes are very clever as well, offering up a cool take on the game’s theatrical premise.
