While his walk rate is down this season, his BABIP has stabilized after a torrid start, suggesting that he might be able to maintain a pace close to this going forward, so pluck him off your wire now.

For some reason, Sacramento seemed to really have a tough time wrapping its head around the idea that Thomas was a core piece of the team’s future. Then again, there’s a reason the Kings have floundered to seven straight losing seasons. Thomas got off to a sluggish start this season, but averaged over 17 points with 5.4 dimes and 2.1 treys per game after the break. In his second season, he got more touches, and while he didn’t shoot quite as well as his rookie effort, his gains in other areas were enough to ensure it was a season of modest development. Thomas’ size (5’9″) is always going to make some people doubt his defensive ability (and hence his future as a starter), but this kid can contribute offensively in a big way. Assuming he’s given 30-to-35 minutes per game, he’s poised to break through next season.

With no tutorial, it’s a veritable trial by fire, and although you’ll probably be quick to work the controls out yourself, it’s still a slight annoyance. Movement speed is also a problem — more than likely made slower to make sprinting more appeasing, but even sprinting could use just a little more boost. Rolling, although nice to watch, is far too slow to be useful to dodge most enemy attacks, and you’ll find yourself falling back onto the basic backpedal and shoot strategy for most areas.

In short, Dark Vision and the Heart have become one… so have Blink and Stop Time. Therefore, upgrading from the default level to level 2 makes a big difference, so allocate your runes accordingly.
