2013 RotoRob MLB Draft Kit: Shortstop Rankings

Well, his extra-base pop wasn’t quite as good as it was in Miami, but he definitely did bring power to the west coast. Ramirez was having a decent comeback effort with the Fish, but his run total surprisingly went down after joining what was a more stacked Dodger lineup – at least on paper. Overall, he did hit better last year, but he’s still nowhere near the player he was from 2006 to 2010. Ramirez went to the Dominican Winter League, and while a shoulder woe kept him at DH and 3B, he did hit well. The Dodgers, however, wanted him to play more shortstop in anticipation of the upcoming season. To make matters worse, the solid work did not carry over to the Caribbean Series, making him a bit of a risk pending a clear health report. The fact that he also hurt his knee in the final Carribbean Series game is another worry, although it was reportedly not serious. You get the point, though: H-Ram is a tad fragile of late. And while Ramirez’s extra-base power recovered somewhat last season, a shoulder issue would make it difficult for him to return to his days of a .200+ ISO. Ramirez is also listed in our Third Base Rankings, coming shortly.

Video Game Review: Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2

Overall, the game controls well with a few minor issues. Pulling off combos feels very smooth as I was able to punch and kick through waves of enemies with very few issues. It is once they fight back that I had some trouble, as blocking takes too long to pull off for it to be useful and dodging felt too short and imprecise. Fortunately, this is a very offensively focused game, so I rarely needed to do either of the defensive actions.

MLB Today: Jonathan Papelbon Blows the Whistle on the BoSox

He said he was surprised by that, but hasn’t taken Toradol since. However, Papelbon made it clear that use of this drug is very widespread: “But here’s the thing you have to understand. There are so many organizations that do it. Not only baseball, but every sport. Football, basketball, hockey. It’s not just the Red Sox.”

The Wire Troll: One Hit Hockey Wonders?

Can anyone believe this? Greene has always been a pretty good defenceman. He does his job more or less, chips in a few points and does solid work against the other team’s top six when he is on the ice. Greene has eight points (two goals, six assists) in his last five games, but generally shots on goal are not his strong suit — being “ahead of the play” is. The fact that the points are coming is a bit of a surprise but he has definitely worked hard during the lockout. The power play points are a very nice bonus for Fantasy owners. With the schedule getting tougher, and Greene getting more and more ice time, it may be time for him to see top line power play time which will be beneficial to future production.
