Video Game Review: Papo & Yo

It’s mostly solid, although jumping from object to object is sporadically irritating as it can be difficult to properly gauge distance, which leads to some tumbles. The game’s camera is another potential hazard when being pursued since Monster is invariable right on your heels. That results in being unable to see yourself from the default camera position.

Video Game Review: Hybrid

Pressing down on the left stick will provide a quick burst of speed to get you where you’re going faster. Also, you can activate a one-time automatic retreat by pressing “B” — instantly launching you to your previous safe zone without having to aim for it. To assist you in the fight and prevent matches from transforming into camping sessions, you’ll earn gunner droids for your kill streaks, which can be dispatched with the d-pad. Drop one enemy and you’ll have a Stalker, a flying turret bot to smoke out the hiding opposition. Snagging two kills will score an upgraded model named the Warmonger. Five kills rewards you with a Preyon, a sword-bearing sleek android that delivers an instant kill to the targeted foe. Putting enough of these guys on the playing field will surely prod your enemies out of hiding and keep the matches from getting dull.

The Wire Troll: Danny Valencia’s Return to the Show

The kid has barely had time to catch his breath since his recall from Double-A and all he’s done so far is a two-hit (including a triple and run) debut Thursday, a two-homer, four-RBI game Friday, and his first double (plus another run and ribbie) Saturday. What? No steals yet? The stiff! Kidding aside, it’s small wonder this dude has been flying off the wire – especially since he may qualify at both 3B and SS. You need to act fast if you want in on this one.
