Video Game Review: Orcs Must Die!

When setting traps you just highlight what you want to deploy and aim at a surface. If you’re able to place it there it’ll appear green and give you a red beam that shows its effective range. Each weapon also has an alternative fire mode that is executed by pressing the left trigger — these usually employ area effects but also drain your mana meter. Face buttons handle tasks like jumping and sprinting as well as selling unwanted traps.

Video Game Review: Splinter Cell Trilogy

Sam Fisher is best known for his glowing tri-focal goggles, and while you won’t always use these, you’ll certainly constantly see them (which begs the question, if Sam is totally hidden in the dark, why can’t the enemy see the three glowing lights?). Goggle functionality — night vision, thermal vision, and EMF detection — is controlled using the directional pad, with different options based on individual games, as well as your mission-specific gear.

The Wire Troll: Jonesing for Jacoby

Yes, seriously. McNabb is off to a slow start this season, and has fallen out of whatever Fantasy favour he enjoyed at the beginning of the season. He did post decent numbers last week, though, and more of the same could be in store as he faces the porous Arizona pass defense, which has surrendered an average of 282 passing yards per game. Video Game Review: Supremacy MMA

This issue, which also plagues clinching and ground fighting, is due to the game’s bizarre blocking and parrying systems that constantly offer each player chances to stop their opponent. MLB Today: Kudos to Kirk Gibson

But the turnaround this season has been mindblowing as the D-Backs did the rare worst to first swing in the NL West, taking home the division crown with relative ease over last year’s World Series Champion San Francisco Giants. After back-to-back 90-loss seasons, the comeback kids won 94 games and wrapped up the NL West a couple of weeks ago — their first division title since 2007. And they just missed out on gaining home field advantage in the opening round.

2011-12 RotoRob NHL Draft Kit: Right Wing Rankings

It was an unbelievable showing for a dude that had only topped 30 goals once before. Perry’s shot total was up last season, but not dramatically so… he just scored way more often. It’s reasonable to assume some regression this season and the early returns in preseason aren’t promising (-4 with one point in three games). Obviously, exhibition results generally are meaningless, but asking Perry to again score 50 might be pushing it.
