Well, what have we here? Painter threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns — without a pick — against Kansas City in Week Five, thus solidifying his hold on the Colts’ starting job. There’s a downside here, though: 237 of Painter’s yards came in the first half, and that kind of inconsistency should be expected as he adapts to the NFL. He is making progress, though, and as long as he’s at the helm of the Colts’ weapon-laden offense, he’s worthy of consideration in larger Fantasy leagues. He faces a tough matchup in Cincy this week, but Painter is a serviceable option in two-quarterback leagues if one of your regulars is on a bye.

Video Game Review: FIFA ’12

The most significant alteration to the control scheme is “tactical defending” — it’s optional in single player, but mandatory online. Tactical defending forces more manual control over defenders, and while implementation is simple enough (the game starts off with a tutorial explaining how it works), it’ll certainly change the play style of seasoned veterans. It also shifts the balance to being more attack-heavy than ever before (more on this later).

Book Review: How Fantasy Sports Explains the World

From that point on I noticed that each chapter was a story from the author’s perspective, with a Fantasy fact or opinion seemingly thrown in to keep with the theme of the book. I honestly couldn’t tell you what Chapter Two was about and Chapter Three had little to do with who Jesus would draft, contrary to what the chapter’s title suggested. That was when the book really just became a blur as chapter after chapter had precious few paragraphs about Fantasy sports out of the roughly 20 pages each chapter comprised.
