Those who feared 2008 was a fluke were bang on as Wellemeyer absolutely crashed and burned, finally losing his rotation spot late in the season. He was beaten like a step child, getting hit harder than at any time during his career. Case in point: the ERA for Wellemeyer’s best month of the season was over a half run higher than his overall mark in 2008. ‘Nuff said.

The Wire Troll: Valentine’s Day Hockey Edition

This is not going to be your normal Wire Troll. Yes it is Valentine’s Day (well, it was when I wrote it, but RotoRob was too busy making sweet, sweet love yesterday…err, onanism counts, right?). Wire Troll: At the Break – Calm Before the Storm?

The NBA All-Star Break allows Fantasy owners a brief respite to take a hard look at their team’s performance, and possibly retool for their league’s stretch run. NBA teams are doing much the same thing, and their decisions to “play the kids” or dump salary in blockbuster trades often can change the tides of Fantasy fortunes for the savvy and vigilant owners out there. Video Game Review: Vandal Hearts — Flames of Judgment

With this being a turn-based strategy game, the controls are extremely simple. You select where you want your character to go with the left stick and press X to send him. The X button also brings up your action options, allowing you to do things like switch your weapon, use magic or attack. The shoulder buttons are used to rotate and zoom in/out on the map. Beyond that, all other face buttons are used for basic tasks like calling up your status or undoing previous commands.
