Clearly, Aurilia is done with the Giants and many believe the 38-year-old should just call it a day. In fact, he was reportedly pondering retirement, but now has other plans. Aurilia says he’s okay accepting a bench role in order to continue his career. No kidding? Um, I doubt you have any other option at this point, Rich.

Could that be enough for him to have some value? It’s a stretch, no doubt. Burriss’ big problems are a complete lack of extra-base pop and an inability to hit righties. He’s a switch hitter, but perhaps he should just abandon the whole batting left thing, as he managed just a 510 OPS against righties. Of course, that would leave Burriss with an upside of being the weak side of a platoon. Oh boy!

The controls for NBA Unrivaled are pretty basic on both offense and defense. When you’ve got the ball, you have the option to pass (A), shoot (X) and pull off a juke move (B). Flip things around and you can attempt a block (X), steal (B) or switch players (A) while trying to contain your opponent. You’ll also have access to turbo (right trigger) with or without the rock.

Alas, now it really is time to see which players I have been thankful for on my teams. One or two of these guys may even still be available in your league. I saw a lot of players that are still on waiver wires that should not be this weekend. Maybe a blue light special from K-Mart is needed for everyone to alert them to the potential feast that is just waiting for them if only they would take a look.

Jovo finished last season with just 36 points in 82 games. It was a decidedly disappointing season for him and I expected it to continue. But this season, he has 13 points in his first 16 games and a 15-goal campaign doesn’t seem out of reach.
