Another Look: Jeff Francoeur

Despite the fact that he’s playing through a torn thumb ligament, Francoeur has played very well lately (well, prior to a current 3-for-18 skid). He had an RBI single on Thursday and walked and scored Friday. What’s that? Two straight games with a walk drawn for Mr. Lack of Strike Zone Judgment? Before we get too excited, Friday’s walk was of the intentional variety, so it’s not as if Francoeur suddenly developed some patience.

Video Game Review: Wolfenstein

Clicking down on the left stick causes you to sprint, while clicking down on the right stick will execute a melee attack. You can also reload (X), jump (A) and crouch (B) — the Y button interacts with doors and other objects. The left bumper throws your grenades and the right bumper causes you to switch weapons (hold it down to access all your guns, tap it to switch to your last weapon).

These theories hold true in just about every walk of life, but they are especially pertinent in the world of fantasy sports. No matter how knowledgeable you are about a particular sport, you will always need a little luck to truly put you over the top. All that you can do is put yourself in a position to actually get lucky. Think about the guy who stays out at the bar until last call, talking to girls that are way out of his league.
