Position Battles: KG Can’t Carry T-Wolves

December 20, 2006 | By RotoRob | comment on this post

Kevin_Garnett.jpgMinnesota’s inconsistent play this season has been frustrating for Kevin Garnett, a superstar waiting for his team to surround him with pieces that will make it a contender. Needing an offensive spark, the team took a close look at Allen Iverson, but lost out to Denver when Minnesota refused to part with Randy Foye. In this week’s Position Battles, we put the T-Wolves under the microscope.

I also take a close look at the Sonics, who just completed their worst road trip in almost 20 years. Other topics this week include: Marvin Williams is making ex-ACC rival Shelden Williams fantasy anathema; Drew Gooden vs. Anderson Varejao; and the backup guard situation in Utah.

Read these and a novelette’s worth more fantasy basketball tidbits in this week’s Position Battles.
