NBA Daily Dose: Parker Sprains Ankle

October 31, 2006 | by RotoRob | Comments (0)

The San Antonio Spurs’ season got off to a rocky start yesterday when guard Tony Parker went down with an ankle injury. His status for the season opener is up in the air, but perhaps all he needs is a little TLC from Eva. At any rate, we cover this topic in our debut of the NBA Daily Dose at RotoWorld today.

Every Tuesday during the NBA season, I’ll be tackling the Dose.

Other items of interest in today’s Dose include an assessment of the Hawks’ chances this year and how Al Jefferson must take a backseat to Ryan Gomes in Boston.

Read all of this and buckets more fantasy hoops notes in today’s Daily Dose.

Is Reed Ready to Rock?

October 29, 2006 | by RotoRob | Comments Comments Off on Is Reed Ready to Rock?
The Mariners face a tough decision this offseason about what to do with Jeremy Reed. The centrepiece of the late-June 2004 trade that sent Freddy Garcia to the White Sox, Reed has been unable so far to deliver on his tremendous promise, and he finds himself entering 2007 without a role. Reed broke his thumb […]

Courtside: Raptors-Bulls Report

October 28, 2006 | by RotoRob | Comments (0)
The Raptors finally met their match in the preseason, losing 108-97 to the Chicago Bulls last night, finishing the exhibition schedule at 7-1. Losing to the Bulls is nothing new for Toronto as it’s been dominated by Chicago of late. And there’s no shame — this Bulls’ team has a chance to join the elite […]
