• Maybe it’s just the near no-hitter talking, but I’m saying that Ramon Ortiz could be worth a gamble in NL-only leagues. In his last two starts, he’s held Philly — one of the better offenses in the Show, and St. Louis — no offensive slouch itself — to seven hits over 14 2/3 innings. With offensively-weak Colorado (something about that still sounds weird) up next on Saturday, I like Ortiz for this week.
